How to get there
Taxi:
Taking a taxi from the airport to Lana Villa can be expensive, with fares averaging around 8 OMR. Please note that taxi drivers in Oman may not know street names or addresses, so it's important to have directions ready. If you're unfamiliar with the area, we recommend downloading a free navigation app like Google Maps offline, Waze, or HereWeGo to help guide your driver.
Bus:
If you're on a budget, you can take a bus from the airport. However, please note that the bus stop is 1 km away from Lana Villa, and we don't recommend taking the bus if you have luggage with you. The bus number you'll need is #8, and the bus stop is called "Azaiba 5-1".
Rental car:
For a more convenient and flexible option, we suggest renting a car. It's only a 10-minute drive from the airport to Lana Villa via 18th November Street. Simply take the exit leading to "UDHAIBA" when you leave the terminal building and follow the signs to get onto 18th November Street.
